Multi-GRAMMY nominated artist, songwriter, and worship leader Cody Carnes has released his newest song, tagged “Firm Foundation (He Won’t”. Since his label debut in 2017, Carnes has co-written numerous songs that have become anthems for listeners. Being a co-writer on the global hit, “The Blessing,” which has earned two Grammy nominations in consecutive years as well as winning this year’s GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year, Carnes has established himself as a songwriter for this worship generation.
Speaking on the song, Cody says “In such a shaky season, it was burning in my heart to write a song that declared what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 7,” On the inspiration for his new song. “It says, Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
