Trinidad and Tobago-born multi-talented independent gospel artist, worship leader, singer, songwriter, musician, and  vocal power-house Tenique Beckles  unveils a new single titled, “Teach Me”

Teach Me was birthed by the Holy Spirit, encouraging believers to live a life embedded with the fruit of the Spirt Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are manifestations of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

Speaking on the song, Tenique shares “Teach Me,  came at a time when I was harbouring anger and unforgiveness, foolishly using it as a shield to protect myself from being hurt. However, I was unaware of how much it was affecting my health and hindering God’s work in my life. But God showed me that the more I judged others, the colder my heart became, and the less I loved. Thanks to HIM I learnt that this coldness in my heart was robbing me of God’s blessings.” She continues

“Teach Me” became my deliverance, and I believe “Teach Me” can help anyone who feels like they are losing their ability to love due to unforgiveness, anger, and bitterness. It is my prayer that everyone who listens to this song will encounter God’s amazing love, and find their hearts softened to forgive. “No matter the challenge life throws on you, ask the Lord to teach you how to love. May God bless you!” she concludes

Tenique Beckles was born into a family of musicians. Naturally, she was drawn to music and at the tender age of five, she had already begun singing and playing various instruments. As she grew, so did her love for music and before long she was gracing stages, performing at various secular events. However, at the age of seventeen, she realised that her entertainment life left her unfulfilled leaving her both convicted and lost.

But everything changed when she first encountered the grace of God at Heavenly Lights Ministry. This was when she first experienced Jesus’ transformative love.  For her this love was like a light that had come into her life, changing the way she saw the world. At this point she realized that she no longer wanted to live for herself but instead, she wanted to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ so others could experience God’s love and grace the same way she did. So, for the last ten years, she’s devoted her life to ministry as a worshipper, preacher and musician.
