17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

MFM Devotional For Today MESSAGE:
The Bible affirms the sovereignty of God and His matchless power. Everything about God describes the depth of His mighty power. We are looking at the finger of God and its awesome glory.
The finger of God demonstrates the unlimited power of God and it is more powerful than any other power in the world. It is the picture of God’s sovereignty. The finger of God is His power and might. It is the finger that creates and promotes. It is a weapon of warfare (Exodus 8:19). It can cast out demons, according to Luke 11:19. The finger of God is the finger that heals. The finger of God works signs and wonders. The finger of God addresses our character and behaviour towards God and our neighbours.
The Ten Commandments, which were the laws we are to follow, were written with the finger of God — Deuteronomy 9:10. God had to write with His own finger to show the terribleness of our sinful nature and the need for a saviour, which also cost Him His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He wrote with His fingers to warn on the impending danger of falling into sin. But because we are deprived, we could not obey the laws on our own. He still had to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem the world from sin.
Beloved, how will you feel at last when the same finger of God is pointed at you that you cannot enter His Kingdom? The finger of God will work against sinners, but it will work in favour of the righteous. Remember, the finger of God is powerful. It is the finger of judgement as well as the finger of mercy. You can ask for this mercy right now. Repent of any secret sin; ask for forgiveness and mercy. Do not wait until the finger of God accuses and judges you of your sins on the last day. God bless you.
