MFM Daily Devotional 9 January 2022 MESSAGE

When Jesus is in your vessel, you will be saved from tempest and storm. Why? He is the
Master over storms. He only needs to speak to them and they will be still (Mark 4:39). Our Fire Scripture provides an interesting account of Christ’s disciples’ encounter with a storm as they journeyed on the sea. Their boat was already water- logged and they stood the risk of drowning. However, because Jesus was with them in the boat, they woke him up, and he
ebuked the storm and the tempest saying, ”Peace, be still” Immediately there was calm

same Voice is still speaking. He will command every storm and turbulence in and around your life to receive peace and be still, in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, ensure that you make Christ the Captain of your vessel this year. As the hymn
the writer penned, “if Christ is in your vessel, you will fear no storm.”

As you begin the journey of this year, do not trust in the am of flesh! The Bible says, “t is
better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes” (Psalm 118: 8-9). The am of flesh will fail you. Make Jesus Christ your Saviour, Lord and Captain this year; remain in Him, worship and serve Him. This will be one of your best years ever, in the name of Jesus.
