TOPIC: Power Of The Praying Couple (II)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Ex 26:1-27:21; Matthew 25:1-30; Psalm 31:1-8; Proverbs 8:1-11
FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ecclesiastes 4:7-12
7 Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun.
8 There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
MEMORY VERSE
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: When you make up your mind to serve the Lord, His spirit shall back you up.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: The holy union of two becoming one shall make you and your spouse a terror to your enemies, in the name of Jesus.
MFM Daily Devotional 7 February 2025 Message
In continuation of yesterday’s discourse on the praying couple, my question to you sir and ma’s, “Are you a praying couple? Can you confidently say that your spouse is your prayer partner?” While it is not wrong for you, as a married man or woman, to have other prayer partners, your spouse should be the first person that you will readily join hands and mind within the place of agreement prayer. Remember, you don’t only live together; you share your bodies and your emotions, your love and affection. Why not your concerns: your successes, your failures, your fears and your struggles?
Interestingly, the devil knows the awesome power of a praying couple. These are two persons bonded with the cord of godly love. Heaven recognises them as one. The Bible says that one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand. Before you seek a praying partner outside, begin to terrorise the kingdom of darkness with your holy partnership: two of you as one; the Holy Spirit is the other party.

What a terror you shall become to the kingdom of Satan. Because the enemy has the power to put asunder, he manipulates one against the other, making it impossible for them to unite in the place of prayer, even agreement prayer.
Many husbands and wives have good reasons for not being present at the family altar for prayers. These reasons range from tiredness and fatigue from work, busyness of the day-to day activities, care of the children, traffic jams and other bottlenecks. These and more may seem tenable but really should not be acceptable reasons.
Unfortunately, it gladdens the enemy of our salvation to weaken your spiritual strength, disconnect you from the power source, and make you (couple) become independent prayer warriors. Yes, there may be answers to your prayers, but to experience the earthquake and jail-breaking answers to agreement prayers in a family, business, and even in the church, couples should stand as a formidable team, stronger than that of Paul and Silas.
