⁶ And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

MFM Daily Devotional 29 November 2024 Message

Two women in the Bible played outstanding negative roles. If it was in Literature, we would call them villains. That means the main attackers of the heroes. Villains do not exist only in drama and prose works or in some Bible stories, they are around us today. Jezebel did not only destroy her husband, Ahab, but she destroyed others through her seduction. Delilah not only killed Samson, she also ruined his ministry. The question is: who is that Delilah or Jezebel hunting for you?

This kind of hunting is very discreet and succinct as the attacker at first will not seem to be an attacker. So, you take him or her as a friend. However, when they strike, all hope would have gone because they would have made you lose consciousness of the danger they constitute. Those were the kinds of missions Delilah and Jezebel went for.

Before the birth of Samson, an angel came to pass the prophecy of his birth. However, it was ironic that he died while the same angels were watching his enemies killing him. That is the tragedy of those who Jezebel and Delilah caught up with. They usually end up tragically.

Beloved Sister, examine yourself. Are you in any way a stumbling stone or playing the role of Delilah or Jezebel in any man’s life at the moment? Are you plotting his downfall and the destruction of his career or ministry? Remember that God cannot be mocked; whatever a man sows, he will reap (Galatians 6:7).

Repent now and be saved! I pray that you will not be the devil’s agent and instrument, in Jesus’ name. Beloved Brother, it is not too late to turn to God in repentance and cry to him for help if you are already in the firm grip of a Jezebel or Delilah. I pray that God will deliver you from every evil work and you will not end tragically like Ahab and Samson, in Jesus’ name.

1. Thou habitation of sin in my life, be closed down, in the name of Jesus.
2. I break the hold and power of the spirit of Jezebel over my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. I break the hold and power of the spirit of Delilah over my life, in the name of Jesus

EVENING
4. Thou Jezebel and Delilah in my camp, be exposed and expelled, in the name of Jesus.
5. I command the assignment of demonic agents in my life and ministry to fail woefully, in the name of Jesus.
6. Powers assigned to ruin my career and ministry, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
7. I will not fail God and I will not be a bad example, in the name of Jesus.
