MFM Daily Devotional 25 November 2021 Outline

We live in a society that has abandoned moral standards and Christian principles in favour of expediency. You should build an exemplary life. To do that, you must be able to develop priorities.

That is, you should be able to put first things first. Blessed is the man who endures trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised those who love Him.

Temptation finds people who live carelessly. The devil sets traps for us. He puts the things you love as bait on the trap. In other words, temptation is subtle and if you do not pay attention, you will take the bait and never notice the trap. Temptation is always two-sided. Whenever Satan is seeking to pull you down, you should remind yourself that God is also present to keep you steady and to build you up through the harrowing experience.

Sometimes, we allow disturbing thoughts on our minds and speak negative words. You must think before you speak because no one is to blame for your sin but you. Because of sin, death entered into the world.

There are different kinds of bait. If your bait is hate, then you need to turn to the word of God that teaches about love. If your bait is worry, then you need to learn to be patient and trust in the Lord.

If it is unforgiving spirit, then you need to learn to forgive those who trespass against you. As you grow in grace, the devil will fill your path with trials and temptations. But God will equip you more as you sail in the storms. You must be able to watch and pray so that the enemy will not overtake you (Luke 21:36).

You must not be ignorant of the wiles and devices of the enemy. You must also be sober and vigilant. Finally, you should give no place to the devil; resist him and he will flee from you!

Motivational Quote
God loves you! He wants you to be victorious over sin so you can possess His promises for your life today

Prophetic Word
No matter what has happened to you in the past or what is going on in your life right now, your situation has no power to keep you from having an amazing good future, in the name of Jesus.

HYMN: He Lives In Us, The Christ Of God

1. He lives in us, the Christ of God,
His Spirit joins with ours;
He brings to us the Father’s grace
With power beyond our powers.

2. And if enticing sin grows strong,
When human nature fails,
God’s Spirit in our inner self
Fights with us, and prevails.

3. Our pangs of guilt and fears of death
Are Satan’s strategems
By Jesus Christ who died for us
God pardons; who condemns?
4. And when we cannot feel our faith,
Nor bring ourselves to pray,
The Spirit pleads with God for us
In words we could not say.

5. God gave his Son to save us all
No other love like this!
Then shall he ever turn away
From those he marks as his?

6. And God has raised him from the grave,
In this we stand assured;
So none can tear us from his love
In Jesus Christ our Lord.
