¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹³ And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

¹⁴ And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Is your name in the Book of Life? This is a question of inestimable value that should continuously resonate in the ears of every serious, heaven-minded believer. It is appalling that in these ends of time, many Christians are living as if there was no end at all. Obviously, this is part of the antics of the devil, making Christians live carelessly without having regard for the end of time, when every one shall stand before the judgement seat of God.

Surely, there is an end to the existence of every living soul irrespective of origin, background, status, race, color, sex, attainment, and belief. Truly, no one has the privilege of living forever. If you know this fact and believe it, then, you have to be extremely careful how you live your borrowed life.

MFM Daily Devotional 21 May 2024 – Deliverance From An Unbridled Tongue

The day of reckoning before the white throne of the Almighty God shall be a day of terrible fear. The Bible says the earth and heaven wouldn’t be able to stand before His face. The dead, both great and small shall stand before Him to check from the books, the records of their activities while on earth. Every action, attitude, utterance, imagination, thought, relationship, behaviour, pursuit, passion, engagement, career, business, Christian service, matrimony, and every aspect of human existence shall be judged from the entries in the books. It is the evaluation of your life from the books that will determine whether your name shall be found worthy to enter the Book of Life or otherwise. The fearful verdict is that those whose names are not found written in the Book of Life would be cast into the lake of fire.

Beloved, hellfire is a terrible place to end. Are you sure your name is written in the Book of Life? Anybody living a life of sin; anyone who has no fear of God and living for the flesh, the world and satan; and whosoever is rejecting Jesus Christ here on earth can never have their names in the book of life. I ask you again: is your name in the Book of Life?

1. Every foothold of iniquity in my life, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Iniquity of my father’s house and my mother’s house, release me, in the name of Jesus.
3. Blood of Jesus, deliver me from the power of sin, in the name of Jesus.

4. Strange fire burning in my soul, I quench you with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every seed of lust lurking in any area of my life, die in the name of Jesus.
6. Holy Ghost fire, envelop my life completely, in the name of Jesus.
7. O Lord, if my name has been removed from the Book of Life, by Your mercy, put it back in the name of Jesus.
