MFM Daily Devotional 17 December 2024 Message

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the result of God’s promises or do you see what you think will be the ’definite outcome’ of the past and current situations in your life?

In the Computer world, the acronym WYSIWYG (What You See IS What You Get) is the name given to an application that enables you to preview the material you are about to print. This device is a replica of what God designed our outlook to life to be – what you expect from life is what you get.

You need to do an audit of your life today. Where are you coming from? Where are you now? Where are you going? If Christ’s death on the cross secured a new beginning for you (Galatians 3:13), then no matter what your yesterday was, your today and tomorrow are guaranteed, if only you could see yourself as a beneficiary of those promises of God in His word. Read passages like John 1:12, Revelation 12:11, Jeremiah 29:11, Matthew 11:28-29, Romans 6:23 and search for more, you will find so many that are relevant to your situation.

What then has been the situation in your life that has colored your vision about your present and your future? People like that common fisherman called Peter whose business failed, the condemned armed robber on the cross, that raving lunatic from Gadara, that corrupt tax collector called Zacchaeus, that prostitute called Mary Magdalene, that blind beggar called Bartimaeus and the mass murderer called Saul of Tarsus all became world famous superstars as a result of their association with Jesus. Their biographies are studied by millions of Christians who are taught to copy some of their attributes.

Beloved, your association with Jesus cannot be less rewarding, if only you can tenaciously hold on to Him and see life through His eyes. But this is only possible if you study Him and keep His presence in your life.

MORNING
1. The God of new beginnings, my life is available, repair every damage that my foundation has done to my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. I dedicate my life and my destiny to Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, in the name of Jesus.
3. I receive the grace for deeper walk and greater communion with the Trinity, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Lord Jesus, just like Peter surrendered his boat for Your use, I surrender all that I am and all that I have for Your use, in the name of Jesus.
5. I claim and appropriate all the blessings of salvation into my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. All things are mine because of the finished works of Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus.
7. Jesus Christ, the destiny changer, change my destiny to the best, in the name of Jesus
