⁷ Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.

MFM Daily Devotional 16 January 2025 Message

Today, we would look at the motivating power of vision. When your vision is clear, it gets you excited and you are ready to run with it. In Isaiah 41:1O, the Lord says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” God is the greatest motivator. He says He will strengthen you, He will help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand. In Joshua 1:6-7, God told Joshua: Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.

Be strong and very courageous.” Joshua needed to be strong and courageous to bring the vision of taking the children of Israel to the Promised Land to fulfilment. Therefore, you need not be afraid of God on your side. When the going gets tough, those with a clear vision keep moving and remain undeterred, drawing strength from God and the purpose that keeps them going forward. Fear will grind your vision to a halt. Fear will stop you in your tracks because fear is not ordinary, The Bible tells us that it is a spirit, which is not from God (2 Timothy 1:7).

Therefore, we must not take the issue of fear lightly, especially when it comes to fulfilling our vision. The spirit of fear weakens our resolve to forge ahead but the Spirit of God enables us to overcome whatever hurdles or challenges that may confront us on the journey to our Promised Land. How do we conquer fear? It is by having unflinching faith in God. We must be strong and courageous.

Let nothing move you so you can reach your ultimate goal.

2. I refuse to be complacent about my life and future, in the name of Jesus.

5. The spirit of backwardness and failure working against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every spirit of fear assigned against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. My glory, refuse to be silent, begin to speak by fire, in the name of Jesus.
