TOPIC: You Need Divine Assistance (I)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 41:10-16 
¹⁰ Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹¹ Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

¹² Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

¹³ For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

¹⁴ Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁵ Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

¹⁶ Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

MFM Daily Devotional 13 December 2023 MESSAGE

Today, many people are fishing in the ocean of life without any fish to show for their efforts. Many have put genuine efforts into their careers or businesses for several years but have recorded failure and frustration. Rather, their lives are characterised by poverty and shame. Besides, they are at their wits end and at the verge of giving up. What such people need is divine assistance. When the Psalmist prayed and asked God to deliver him from the enemies that were stronger than he was, he was literally asking for divine assistance.

When the Almighty God offers you His assistance, your enemies, both human and spiritual, will go down for you. When God decides to be your helper, He will reverse unpleasant situations in your life and ensure that His purpose for your life and is fulfilled. Besides, He will give you miracles and make you a living proof of His goodness and faithfulness.

READ FM Daily Devotional 12 December 2023 – The Wonders of Rods (III)

An organisation wanted to hire a retired military person. Thirteen people applied and the job was outside Nigeria. The letters went to America. Twelve of the retired military applicants had powerful recommendations from top people. But there was a brother among them who did not know anybody to recommend him. This brother was there the day I was preaching a message titled, “My Twenty-four Hour Miracle, Appear. When all the thirteen applications got to this white man who was to interview them, he saw all the recommendations. He did not know any of them. He asked his staff, “is there anybody that nobody recommended.” They said, “Yes, only one person.” He said, “That is the person I want.” The bulldozing power of God has no respect for anything.

Beloved, the reason many people are struggling in life and are heavily burdened is that they are yet to realise that God is their ever-present help. You and I need to avail ourselves of the blessings of divine assistance. We need to cry to the Almighty God that we are tired of our situations and that He assist us and cause a glorious change in our lives. The first step that must be taken to ensure that He does so is new birth. Give your life to Jesus Christ today and His help will come your way!

MORNING
1. Father, I thank You because You are my ever-present help at all times and in all situations, in the name of Jesus.
2. Both the assistance I deserve and the one I do not deserve, Father, give them to me now, in the name of Jesus.
3. Heaven of divine assistance, open for me now and remain perpetually open, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Powers blocking divine assistance in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise and confer supernatural favour upon me, in the name of Jesus.
6. The Unchangeable Changer, cause a glorious change in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God of all possibilities, arise and make the impossible possible in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
