MFM Daily Devotional 11 September 2024 MESSAGE

The reason we don’t turn to God more often is because at some basic and unconscious level, we are not “fully convinced” He is able and willing to move on our behalf. Being able to admit that to yourself is humbling. It is also the point at which you begin to deal with your lack of faith in God.

In Genesis, Sarah doubted when the Lord prophesied the birth of her son. Is anything too difficult for the Lord? Within a year, Sarah gave birth to a son called Isaac. She saw that God was able.

Moses was scared when God sent him to Pharaoh to demand that the Hebrews who were slaves under the taskmaster be released. “Who am I,” he asked, “that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the Children of Israel out of Egypt?”God replied that He would release Israel, which He did wondrously. Moses saw that God was able.

Nothing in your life will change until you pray. Once you begin to pray you will discover that God is able. He can provide for you when you are in the wilderness. He can defeat the giants that stand in your way. He can go through fiery trials with you and bring you out unharmed. He can promote you when you’ve been overlooked or opposed.

On your own, you can accomplish nothing, but with God, you have access to power beyond your comprehension. If you are overcome by burdens of life, it is time to trust the only One who can carry your heavy load. Nothing is too difficult for God. He is just waiting for you to recognize that, and come to Him in faith asking for help. Then you will see for yourself that He is able to do all things.

MORNING
1. Thank God for grace and for a new day. Bless Him for what He has started and will perfect Concerning you.
2. Father, I know that You are more than able. Step in and heal me, in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord, bring me out of this unpleasant situation, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Lord, show Yourself strong in my life, in the name of Jesus.
5. I decree the release of fire against any satanic plot to trap me, in the name of Jesus.
6. Lord, release upon me the grace to wait and trust in Your mighty power of deliverance, in the name of Jesus.
7. Thank God for answered prayers.
