We continue today on the study of the life of Judas Iscariot. You cannot serve God and mammon. The Bible records that the love of money is the root of all evil. You cannot love money and love God at the same time.
Money is very good and we need it to live comfortably and even fulfil purpose in life. Poverty is never a thing to be desired. God wants all His children to be richly blessed and He promised us so. Silver and gold are mine saith the Lord. God knows we need money and really wants to bless us abundantly, but the problem with many people is their attitude towards money. It is sad to know that many believers can do anything to get money even if it is against their godly convictions. Their motive for wanting to get money is not for their kingdom sake.

It is for selfish interests. God always bless people for kingdom purposes not for self-aggrandizement. The Bible affirms that Judas had the bag and he was a thief. He had issues with money. He loved money and since he started loving money, the love for Jesus in his heart started to fade away until he finally decided to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver, the money he never lived to spend. So sad! The love of money consumed his zeal for Christ.
The Bible says that godliness with contentment is a great gain. Yes, a great gain indeed because so many people have run after money and have brought untold sorrow on themselves. As Christians, we need to start checking our attitude towards money. If your attitude is such that you just must have money by all means, I put it to you that you are journeying on the broad way already. May your desire not lead you to destruction, in the name of Jesus.
Dear reader, whatever you cannot control will control you! If you cannot control your desire for money, you will surely deny your faith one day. There is need to tame your desire for earthly and mundane things that have no eternal value and set your priorities right. God must come first in your lives; then every other thing, including wealth, will surely be added unto you, according to Matthew 6:33.

MORNING
1. Spirit of mammon and greed, you will not have me, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Any money that will lead me to hell, you will not come my way, in the name of Jesus.
3. The devil will not harvest my soul, in the name of Jesus.

4. Poverty of my father’s and mother’s houses, on assignment to push me into error, I curse you, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise and command wealth and prosperity upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. Milk and honey of this land, be deposited into my bosom, in the name of Jesus.
7. My Father, arise and release kingdom wealth to me, make me a financier in kingdom projects, in the name of Jesus.
