MFM Daily Devotional 10 January 2022 MESSAGE:

As a believer, you are supposed to be a carrier of the Lord’s presence, power and glory. That is when you can claim that Jesus is in the vessel of your life. Besides, this will make a big difference in your life. When Jesus is in your vessel, He will move you from profitless hard work and non-achievement to enviable achievements, from a failure to a huge success, from poverty to super abundance. Peter, a professional fisherman, had this experience. He had toiled all night and caught nothing.

When Jesus came into his life and gave him a simple instruction, he obeyed and his fortune changed positively: he had a net breaking catch! When Christ is in your vessel, what used to be difficult for you to achieve will become easy and what was once impossible will become possible for you. You will be able to say as Paul did, “1 can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Having Jesus as the Captain of your vessel also means getting yourself insured against all eventualities, dangers, trials and temptations, that the enemy might bring your way in the journey of life.

The disciples never thought a storm would arise in their journey. It caught them unawares, and when they were at their wits end, they called upon Jesus. They overcame that life-threatening challenge because Jesus was in their boat and He intervened. Beloved, as you journey this year with Christ in your vessel, if the enemy comes into your vessel like a flood, the Spirit of God will lift up a standard against him and the Lord will deliver you, in the name of Jesus.

When God is in the vehicle of your life, you will become His instrument of signs and wonders. You will fulfil your divine assignment. God was in the vessel of Moses’ life, He parted the Red Sea and the strong man pursuing him drowned with his chariots and army. He was in Joshua’s vessel and gave him the strategies to demolish the walls of Jericho and take over the city of Jericho. God was in Elijah’s vessel; he called down the fire of God, conquered the prophets of Baal and successfully turned the hearts of all Israelites back to God.

Beloved, with God in your vessel, you will do exploits this year, in Jesus’ name.
