Joyce Meyer Daily Devotional 30 November 2021

Topic: Security In Christ

Scripture: I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. – Galatians 2:20 (AMPC)

Message: Insecurity is at epic proportions in our society. It seems we come across touchy, insecure people everywhere we go.

Insecurity keeps people so focused on their perceived weaknesses and what others think of them that they can’t enjoy life. They live in fear and with a failure mentality because insecurity influences every decision they make.

As a child of God, you don’t have to live under the storm clouds of insecurity; you can be secure in Christ as you live by faith, adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting in Him. When you choose to receive your acceptance and self-worth from God, you will never need to be insecure around people again.

God wants you to live with a bold confidence, believing in faith that His plans and purposes will come to pass in your life.

Prayer Starter: Father, anytime I feel insecure, help me remember that You are always with me. Help me be filled with hope in You. You are good, and I believe You want to be good to me, amen.
