Speaking about the song, Jeff Singz reveals that the mercy of God is actually a lifeline for the child of God. The Mercy of God is the reason why you cannot be finished, swallowed or eaten up!
If you are associated with God’s Mercy, you don’t fear for your life or your future. If it wasn’t for God’s mercy, we would have been eaten up by preys, the circumstances of life.
Blessed be the LORD, Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. (Psalm 124:6)
The Bible also relates mercy to other qualities beyond love and forgiveness.
“All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.” (Psalm 25:10).
“But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in mercy and truth.” (Psalm 86:15).
