FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Philippians 1-4

FIRE SCRIPTURE: John. 14:26-31

MEMORY VERSE: John. 14:27
“Peace I leave with you my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE: Never be in a hurry; approach, everything quietly and in the calmness of the Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORFOR TODAY: The peace that is of God shall calm every storm in your life, in the name of Jesus.

The result of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life is deep and lasting peace. Unlike worldly peace, which is defined as the absence of conflict, this peace is confident assurance in any circumstance. With Christ’s peace, you have no need to fear the present or the future. The peace of God will make you to overcome fear, uncertainty, doubt etc. that are within you and it will offer you peace in place of conflict.

Peace is the calmness that comes into your heart by your reconciliation with God (Col. 3:15). Phil. 4:7 says that the peace of God that passeth all understanding shall keep your heart. Real peace comes from knowing that because God is in control your citizenship in Christ’s kingdom is sure; your destiny is set and your victory over sin is certain. God is not a God of confusion but of peace and His desire is to give you peace. Jesus came to the world to give the world peace (Lk. 2:14).

Peace as a fruit of the Spirit is an inner characteristic which manifests itself in freedom from quarrelsome contentions with others. It seeks to live peaceably with all men. If your life is full of stress, allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with Christ’s peace. The world cannot offer peace because it doesn’t have any and does not know the one who is the giver of peace.

Beloved, you can reject the chaos of the world and embrace God’s peace. Jesus told His disciples in Jn. 16:33 that it is only in Him we can find peace, not in the world. He promised to be with you in all the temptation and tribulations of the world. You can claim the peace of Christ in the most troublesome times if you believe that God has won the victory for you.

A life of peace is to be safe and secure both physically and mentally. The Bible says that if you are spiritually minded, you will have peace (Rom. 8:6).
